The Dolphins battled with the Bulldogs from Norfolk Academy on Tuesday night, with the Bulldogs winning all but one court. The Dolphins fell behind 3-0 after doubles play with all three Dolphins courts finishing 8-1. Trailing 3-0 heading into singles play, the Dolphins were unable to overcome the talented Bulldog lineup. With the lone win for the Dolphins, Halle Speight won the number six court 6-4, 6-2. Mary Turner Shipp forced extra points on court five, but ultimately fell 6-0, 4-6, 1 (6). The Dolphins (7-7) will hit the road on Thursday night, traveling to Hampton Roads Academy for a 4:00 pm contest with the Navigators.
