The Dolphins traveled to Richmond on Tuesday night for a TCIS contest against the Spartans from Steward School. The Dolphins battled to steal one win in doubles play as Anna Kutelia and Halle Speight recorded the 8-4 win against their court two opponents. Heading into singles play trailing 1-2, the Dolphins would muster only two more victories in Tuesday’s loss to Steward. On the number three court, Stephanie Strickland won the tightly-contested affair, 7-5, 7-5. Recording the final win for the Dolphins on Tuesday night, Mary Turner Shipp won her extra-point battle, 7-5, 6-3, 1-0. The Dolphins (7-4) are back in action Friday, taking on St. Catherine’s at home, beginning at 4:00 pm
