Dolphins fall to Norfolk Christian on the road

The Dolphins hit the road for a contest with the Ambassadors from Norfolk Christian on Tuesday night, which was a first look at what very well may be the TCIS finals matchup in 2019. The Dolphins fell in three straight sets but turned in a stellar early-season performance against a talented program in Norfolk Christian. The Dolphins fell 15-25 in the first set, before dropping the second set 14-25. The Dolphins regrouped and picked up the play in the final set of the night, but came up short in the third set. With a 20-25 loss in the final set, the Dolphins returned home with the first loss of the season. Highlighting the night, Aiden Winfield, Kenny Schaedel, and Nick Hubbard each earned three kills in Tuesday’s contest. Schaedel added two aces, while Winfield led the way in assists with nine. The Dolphins (2-1) will host Salem High School on Friday, September 13 beginning at 6:00 pm.
