Dolphin Boys finish fourth of fifteen teams

The Dolphins traveled to Mount Trashmore on Wednesday night for Catholic High School’s first meet of the year. The Dolphins picked up two impressive overall finishes, as the Boys finished fourth out of 15 teams and the Girls finished fifth out of 15. With the event moved up one day, the full results have not been posted fully. However, leading the way for the Dolphin boys, Berk Alptekin posted the highest finish with 3rd place overall. Not to be outdone, Zach Earl was on Alptekin’s heels with a 4th place finish. On the girls’ side, Avan Johnson continued her stellar season with a 5th place overall finish on Wednesday night. Carlie Meyerholz pushed Johnson throughout the race and completed a 6th place overall finish to propel the girls into 5th place overall. The Dolphins will use a long layover to prepare for the next race on Thursday, September 19 at Bells Mill Park.
