Baseball- CHC 0, Walsingham 10

The Dolphins traveled across the water to take on the Trojans from Walsingham Academy on Thursday afternoon, and after six innings of baseball, the Trojans defeated the Dolphins 10-0. The Trojans and Dolphins battled for two innings before Walsingham exploded for nine runs between the third and fourth innings of Thursday’s TCIS contest. Cape Henry struggled to connect with the baseball, picking up only four hits through six innings. The Trojans picked up the tenth and final run in the bottom of the sixth inning to end the game early by run-rule. Offensively, Bryce Jones, Aiden Kuhle, Dane Hoggard, and Jack Wickum accounted for the lone Dolphin hits, each connecting for one on Thursday. The Dolphins (14-4) are back in action Tuesday at 4:30 pm to host the TCIS Quarterfinal matchup as the number two seed in the conference.
