The Dolphins traveled to Lakewood Park for a TCIS contest with the Ambassadors from Norfolk Christian, and after another complete game from Aiden Kuhle on the mound, the Dolphins earned the 7-1 victory on Tuesday afternoon. The Dolphins were on the board in the top of the first inning, scoring two runs on a sac fly from Aiden Kuhle and a single from Trent Jones. The Ambassadors scored their first and only run of the night in the bottom of the first inning, but the Dolphins answered with a run in the top of the second to bring the score to 3-1 in favor of the Dolphins. Both sides were held scoreless throughout the next four frames until the Dolphins exploded for four runs in the top of the seventh inning as Josh Holland cleared the bases with a shot to the centerfielder. As the dust settled, the Dolphins earned the 7-1 TCIS victory. Aiden Kuhle earned the win from the mound, throwing seven innings with one run, five hits, seven strikeouts, and three walks. Through this point in the season, Aiden has accumulated 49 innings pitched, a 7-0 record on the mound, 61 strikeouts and seven walks, resulting in a .714 ERA and a WHIP of .653. At the plate, Trent Jones led the charge with a 2-3 day with two RBIs. Rounding out the offense, Kyle Edwards, Kenny Schaedel, Dane Hoggard, Josh Holland, and Rush Friedberg each collected one hit. The Dolphins (14-4) are back in action Thursday for the final TCIS matchup of the season, taking on Walsingham Academy on the road.
