Boys Lacrosse- CHC 17, Norfolk Collegiate 6

The Dolphins hosted Flint Hill for the home opener on Thursday afternoon, scoring a season-high 17 goals to capture the first win of the year. Jack Kainer scored the opening goal just before Colin Sharp scored back-to-back goals to give the Dolphins a 3-0 lead minutes into the opening frame. Cape Henry continued to pour in the offense, with the Dolphin defensive line limiting the Flint Hill attack to three first-half goals. As the teams broke for the half, the Dolphins commanded a 9-3 lead and looked to extend the lead in the second half of play.  After three-quarters of play, Cape Henry showed no signs of slowing down and held on to a 15-4 differential with one quarter left on the night. As the final horn sounded, Cape Henry’s first win of the season was in the books, 17-6. Colin Sharp once again led the Dolphin attack with an incredible four-goal, three-assist performance. Aidan Rosenblum, William Dickie, Konrad Keenan, and Jack Kainer each found the back of the cage twice. Dickie also contributed three assists. Rounding out the Dolphin goals, Connor Garrison, Neos Karides, Gavin Dooren, and Marshall Joyce each scored once, with Rosenblum, Keenan, Kainer, Garrison, Dooren, Mason Dudley, and Grant Shepherd each dishing out one assist. Parker Tanner-Vigil picked up five saves on the night, with Tucker Bruner, George Burns, and Josh Mickens combining for 16 of 25 on faceoffs. Cape Henry (1-2) will host a talented St. Stephens, St. Agnes on Saturday afternoon with the first faceoff set for 1:00 pm.
