Riding a two-game winning streak, the Dolphins hosted the Commodores from Maury High School on Thursday night and could not overcome the depth of talent on the Commodores’ sideline, defeating the Dolphins 3-0. In the first set, unforced errors gave Maury an early lead in which the Dolphins struggled to overcome. The Dolphins made a run to diminish the nine-point deficit in the first set but the errors early in the night proved too much, and the Dolphins dropped the set 13-25. Entering the second set, unforced errors plagued the Dolphins once again, leading to a 12-25 loss for Cape Henry. In the final set of the night, Maury defeated the Dolphins 14-25 and handed Cape Henry the second loss of the season. The Dolphins (2-2)  travel to Peninsula Catholic tonight to open conference play beginning at 5:00 pm.
