This skit includes Tom Hanks and Alec Baldwin as guest stars. The skit reenacts the final debate between President-elect Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Through making fun of both candidates, this miniseries was definitely one of the best highlights of 2016 and added much needed comic relief. Two seniors Brianna DeLarge stated “I loved watching it” and Ashley Wendt gave her opinion, “SNL was the most watched and so elaborate… it was like perfect.” Clearly through the cast, the comedy, and other CHC opinions, SNL wins the best late night TV show moment.

 

  1.  Late Night Show- Jon Stewart returns

Two years ago in 2015 Jon Stewart left the Daily Show after 17 years. During the summer of 2016 Jon Stewart made a guest appearance on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Night Show. Jon Stewart talked about the Republican National Convention and celebrates with Mr. Colbert about the retirement of former Fox CEO Roger Ailes.

Whether it was Jenna Tatum interpretation of her husband’s famous Magic Mike dance scene or  Channing Tatum dancing to Beyonce with the artist herself coming out and joining him, it was the best lip sync battle of 2016.
