Dolphins remain perfect in TCIS play with win over NSA

The Dolphins Boys Varsity Soccer team continued their perfect TCIS play on Thursday afternoon with a 5-0 win over the Saints from Nansemond Suffolk Academy. The Dolphins struck in bunches on Thursday night, scoring two goals late in the first half and added the remaining three goals early in the second half. Kick-starting the action for Cape Henry, Mason Dudley got the ball rolling with the Dolphins’ first score of the night. Flynn Somers followed Dudley’s goal with a score of his own just before the halftime whistle. The Dolphins hit the pitch for the second half with a 2-0 lead over NSA and struck for the third right out of the gate as Kyle Usonis connected for his first of the night. Trevor Kidd continued his stellar senior season with the Dolphins’ fourth goal of the night midway through the second half. Rounding out the Dolphin scoring, Noa Denno connected for his first career Varsity goal for the Dolphins with the night coming to an end. The Dolphins (12-1) are back in action tonight, taking on Peninsula Catholic at 4:30 pm.
