Dolphins win over STAB

The Dolphins traveled to Eastern Mennonite on Friday afternoon for the first of three games in the Menno Classic Soccer Tournament, advancing to the second round with a resounding win over STAB. The Dolphins grabbed control of Friday’s contest from the outset, scoring four goals in the 80-minute affair. Leading the charge for the Dolphins, Jack Kainer found the back of the net twice, including the eventual game-winner early in the first half. Carter Atherton joined the action with a goal of his own to extend the Dolphins’ lead to three on the night. Parker Mann rounded out the offense with the fourth and final goal of the afternoon. In the cage, Matt Vander Werff picked up his fourth shutout of the season in Friday’s win over STAB. The Dolphins (7-0) advanced to the semi-finals with the win.
