Dolphins earn exciting win over Salem High School

The Dolphins hosted Salem High School on Friday night, winning in three straight, highly-contested sets. The Dolphins earned the 25-21 victory in the first set after many back and forth rallies before carrying the momentum from a first set win into the second frame. The Dolphins once again came out on top, winning 25-22 in the nail-biter. With a chance to clinch the night and a sweep, the Dolphins finished out the final set by a score of 25-20. Brady Old led the defense with 12 digs and contributed three aces along the way. Aiden Winfield dished out 16 assists and earned five kills. Robert Campbell also picked up five kills, while Greg Melvin (7) and Lane Carlson (6) combined for 13 kills. The Dolphins (3-1) competed in the Endless Summer Classic on Saturday, September 14.
