Boys Lacrosse- CHC 13, Nansemond Suffolk 3 (Semifinal)

The Dolphins hosted the semifinal matchup of the TCIS Tournament, taking on the Saints from Nansemond Suffolk Academy. The Dolphins raced out to an early lead as Cape Henry was determined to reach the conference finals on Thursday night. By the end of the first half, Cape Henry controlled a 9-1 lead and never looked back. The Dolphins connected for four goals in the second half en route to a 13-3 win over the Saints. Colin Sharp continued his stellar offensive performances this season, netting six goals and adding one assist in Tuesday night’s win. Neos Karides and Jack Kainer found the back of the net twice, as each also picked up one assist. Rounding out the scoring efforts, William Dickie, Konrad Keenan, and Aidan Rosenblum each scored one apiece. Carter Atherton led the team’s assist column as he contributed three assists on the night. Parker Tanner-Vigil’s colossal performance in the cage resulted in 10 saves for the Dolphin goalie. The Dolphins (10-8) advanced to the TCIS finals with a win on Tuesday night and will take on the Bulldogs from Norfolk Academy on Thursday night.
