The Dolphins took on Norfolk Christian for the final TCIS regular season matchup of the year, with the Dolphins finishing top-3 in the TCIS after a win over the Ambassadors on Tuesday afternoon. The Dolphins raced out to a 2-1 lead after doubles play was concluded. Brown and Somers easily defeated the number one court counterparts with an 8-3 decision. The Dolphins fell in a hard-fought number two doubles court battle but were redeemed with the second doubles victory from Winfield and Gordon, 8-5. The Dolphins swept singles play with six straight victories. Leading the charge Grahame Brown and Flynn Somers earned identical scores on the number one and number two singles courts, winning 6-0, 6-1. On the number three singles court, Nick Hubbard earned the 6-0, 6-2 result to bring the tally to 5-1 in favor of the Dolphins. Byron Richards sealed the victory with a 6-3, 6 -3 result on the number four court, followed by a 6-1, 6-1 result from Aiden Winfield on the number five singles court. Rounding out the day, Jared Gordon earned the eighth CHC win with a 6-2, 6-0 results on the number six singles court. The Dolphins (7-4) are back in action for the TCIS tournament on May 10 and 11 at Old Dominion University.
