The Dolphins scored early and often on Senior Day against Grafton High School as Cape Henry raced out to a 21-3 victory. The Dolphins scored 18 of 21 goals in the first half, with Charlotte Purkey and Madisen Patrick accounting for 10 of 18 first-half goals. The Dolphins were able to use the second half to focus on future game plans as the Dolphins scored three in the final 25 minutes. Leading the offense on Tuesday night, Madisen Patrick and Charlotte Purkey each netted five goals. Mary Grace Fowler and Claire Bingham combined for six goals as both scored three times against Grafton. Kenzie Dillon contributed two goals, as Libby Kennedy, Lexia Hann, and Aleezah Adams rounded out the offense with one goal apiece. Fowler also chipped in three assists on Tuesday night, with Libby Kennedy rounding out the assist column with one. Eva Dickie and Tori Winans captained the cage on Tuesday, picking up three saves throughout the contest. The Dolphins (8-3) will travel to Nansemond Suffolk Academy on Thursday afternoon for a TCIS matchup with the Saints beginning at 5:15 pm.
