Crew Making Strides in the Water

Crew

The Dolphins traveled to Norfolk’s Botanical Gardens for the third Regatta of the season, and the Dolphins continue to make large strides in the water. Highlighting the day, the Men’s lightweight four finished first in their heat after Martin Salzberg, Ben Schwantes, Mason Ehrenzellar, Carson Harrell, and coxswain Zach Healy’s exceptional week at practice. Finishing first in their heat earned the Dolphins a third place finish overall in the Men’s lightweight four. The Ladies novice four of Malia McLeod, Caroline Berman, Kate McCray, Charlotte Brown, and coxswain Peter Pan, finished second in their heat, falling short of first by a mere two seconds. The second place finish resulted in a fifth out of twelve overall finish on the weekend. The Dolphins will continue to improve throughout the weekly practices and will be back on the water Saturday, April 27 at Norfolk’s Botanical Garden.
