Girls Lacrosse- CHC 7, Norfolk Academy 20

The Dolphins hosted the Bulldogs from Norfolk Academy on Tuesday afternoon and fell by a score of 20-7 in the conference matchup. It was an off night for the Dolphins as Academy raced out to an early lead and controlled the tempo of the game. As the teams reached halftime, the Academy lead became insurmountable, and the Dolphins ultimately fell to 6-3 on the season. The Dolphins will have a shot at redemption on May 1 at Norfolk Academy. Leading the offense on Tuesday night, Mary Grace Fowler accounted for over half of the Dolphins’ goals with four on the night. Rounding out the scoring column, Libby Kennedy, Madisen Patrick, and Gini Kainer each scored one goal apiece. The Dolphins (6-3) will host Steward School for a TCIS matchup with the Spartans with faceoff set for 4:30 pm on Friday.
