The Dolphins hosted the Trojans from Walsingham Academy on Tuesday afternoon and defeated the conference opponent after a quick start to the offense. The Dolphins were on the board first as Addison Cox drilled home the first score of the night seven minutes into the match. Cape Henry’s defense stymied all Trojan chances and allowed the Dolphin offense to consistently attack the opposing frame. In the 24th minute of the first half, Jamie Friedman scored the eventual game-winner as the Dolphins took a 2-0 lead. With the teams wrapping up the first half, Cape Henry held on to a commanding 2-0 lead. Returning to the pitch, Cape Henry added the third goal of the night in the 5th minute of the second half. Olivia Zettervall drilled home the Dolphins’ free kick from just outside the 18. However, Zettervall was not finished here, as she scored the fourth and final goal for Cape Henry in the 18th minute of the second half.  Assisting on the play, Jamie Friedman found Olivia making a run into the box. The Dolphins will take on Steward School on Friday with kick off set for 4:30 pm at Cape Henry Collegiate.
