The Dolphins hosted Padua Academy from Wilmington, Delaware on Saturday afternoon, and after nearly 60 minutes of scoreless play, the Dolphins dropped the contest, 4-0. The Dolphins were in fine form early on in Saturday’s matchup, battling back-and-forth with the defending Delaware State Champions. The Dolphins’ defensive line kept the pressure on Padua’s attack, with Olivia Zettervall adding several crucial saves. As the first 40 minutes came to a close, the Dolphins and Pandas were tied, 0-0. @0 minutes into the second half, the score remained, 0-0. Midway through the second half, Padua found the night’s first score. Leading 1-0, Padua continued to pressure the Dolphins’ back four and added three more before the end of the night. The Dolphins fall to 3-4-2 (W-L-T) on the season and are back in action tonight for a rescheduled matchup with Tallwood High School.
