Softball- CHC 0, Greenbrier Christian 13

The Dolphins traveled to Greenbrier Christian to take on the TCIS’s top-ranked team, and fell, 13-0, despite the outstanding play from the Dolphins. The talented Gators program raced out to an early lead, hitting two home runs in the first inning to jump out to a 7-0 lead. The Dolphins connected for multiple hard-hit balls throughout the night, but the experience of the Gator’s defense proved to be the difference. The Gators finished the night with zero errors, as the Dolphins put the ball in play in all but three at-bats in the night. The Dolphins kept a positive mindset throughout the night, and despite the loss to Greenbrier, the Dolphins are playing exceptional Softball. Cape Henry (3-2) will take on Green Run High School on Thursday afternoon with first pitch set for 4:30 pm at Cape Henry Collegiate.
