Boys Lacrosse- CHC 18, Norfolk Collegiate 5

The Dolphins hosted the Oaks from Norfolk Collegiate on Tuesday afternoon, and after an explosive first-half performance from Colin Sharp, Cape Henry earned the 18-5 victory over the Oaks. The Dolphins were out to a resounding lead after an incredible nine-goal performance from senior Colin Sharp led the charge for the first half of play. The Dolphins moved the ball, focusing on accurate and intelligent passing for much of the second half as the Dolphins finished the night with 18 goals. Aside from Colin’s nine goals, nine members of the Varsity Lacrosse roster found the back of the net on Tuesday afternoon. Aidan Rosenblum, Briggs Standing, Ethan Jones, Grant Shepherd, Tucker Bruner, Mitchell Cuthriell, Chris Jaycox, and Gavin Dooren each finished the night with one goal apiece. George Burns (9 of 10) and Tucker Bruner (11 of 12) combined for 20 wins on faceoffs as Parker Tanner-Vigil (3), Matt Gross (1) and Cam Ciolfi (1) combined for a total of four saves. Sharing the ball on offense, William Dickie, Jack Praver, and Gavin Dooren each collected one assist against the Oaks. The Dolphins (3-4) are back in action Thursday for a matchup against the Crusaders at Bishop Sullivan Catholic with faceoff set for 4:30 pm
