The Dolphins hit the road for the seventh conference matchup of the season, taking on the Knights from Peninsula Catholic. The Dolphins were in control for the full 32 minutes and earned the convincing win, 58-28. The Dolphins were able to provide all nine student-athletes vital game minutes with the TCIS Tournament approaching in just one week. The Dolphins raced to an early lead, utilizing the full-court press to force the Knights into multiple turnovers. As the Dolphins converted turnovers into fast-break layups, Cape Henry broke for the half with a commanding lead. The Dolphins extended the lead throughout the second half and returned to Virginia Beach with a 58-28 conference victory on Monday night. Nadia Norman led the Dolphin offense with 12 points, while Izzy Schleifer scored a season-high 11 points. Paris Beale dominated the boards and added eight points, with Olivia Zettervall and Madisen Patrick each netting seven. Emily Ryan (6), Amberly Butler (4), Mackenzie White (2), and Aleezah Adams (1) rounded out the Dolphin offense as all nine members of the roster found the bottom of the net on Monday night. Cape Henry (7-9, 4-3) will host the Ambassadors from Norfolk Christian tonight for the Varsity Girls Basketball Senior Night beginning at 5:30 pm.
