Indoor Track and Field- 6^th Place

The Indoor Track and Field team kicked off the season Tuesday night, with both sides taking 6th overall.  The boys were led by senior Ethan Jones, who earned a PR in the 55m dash, as well as, the 4x400m relay.  Grant Shepard took 6^th place in the mile featuring a deep field of athletes while pacing the distance team. Senior Lexia Hann led the girls’ side, taking 3rd in both the 1600m and 1000m, while Sophomore Hannah Gunn grabbed 4th in the 500m run.  Both Gunn and Hann teamed up with Libby Kennedy and Katie DiBona to take the bronze in the 4x400m relay in the opening meet of the season.  The Dolphins are off until the new year, with the next competition set for January 8 for the Norfolk Academy Invitational at the Boo Williams Sportsplex.
