The Dolphins celebrated the contributions of seniors Caroline Cashion, Brett Dudley, Caroline Estes, Skylar Herrle, Morgan Jones, and Genevieve Reynolds on Thursday night, taking on the Bulldogs from Norfolk Academy. The Dolphins, facing a talented and deep Bulldog roster, struggled to find consistency on both sides of the court throughout the night. In the first two sets, the Dolphins fell by a score of 14-25 with the Bulldogs picking up a slew of points from the service line. The Dolphins were able to settle down in the third set, taking the Bulldogs down to the wire; however, the Dolphins’ defensive errors allowed Academy to take the third and final set by a score of 19-25.
