On Senior Day for the Varsity Boys Volleyball program, the team celebrated the contributions of Marshall Joyce and Danny Banister with the Dolphins sweeping the Knights from Peninsula Catholic in three sets. The Dolphins were in control throughout the first set, winning 25 – 15 behind a strong performance from Danny Banister. The Dolphins, taking the Knights for granted, trailed in the second set by a score of 18-22 before regrouping and scoring the final seven points to earn a 25-22 second-set win. Closing out Senior Day play, Cape Henry was able to provide valuable court time for much of the team en route to a 25-18 third-set win. Danny Banister led the offense with six kills on the night, while Thomas Couch finished with five kills, nine assists, and five aces. Nick Hubbard and Marshall Joyce each finished with four kills for the Dolphin attack. Cape Henry (7-6) finished regular season play in the win over Peninsula Catholic on Wednesday night.
