In the opening round of the TCIS Tournament, the Dolphins scored at will to advance to the TCIS Semifinals. The Dolphins controlled all aspects of the quarterfinal matchup with the Ambassadors, with Wladimir Gassant finding the back of the net for the Dolphins’ first goal of the night. Konrad Keenan followed suit, scoring the Dolphins’ second with a powerful header into the back of the net before George Selamaj connected for the third score of the night. Bringing the first half to a close, Grant Shepherd continued an impressive string of games with a goal of his own. In the second half, Wladimir Gassant, again, scored first as he added his second goal of the night. Leading 5-0, Trevor Kidd scored his first to extend the Dolphin lead to six. In the blink of an eye, Colin Sharp was on the board with his first before a quick goal from Will Longacher carried the Dolphin’s lead to eight. Colin Sharp found the back of the net for the second time before Andrew Rachels scored his first goal of the season with 10 minutes remaining in regulation. The Dolphins will host the Bulldogs from Norfolk Academy with kickoff beginning at 4:00 pm tonight.
