Girls Cross Country- CHC 2nd

In their farewell to senior captains Madisen Patrick and Liz Bowles, the girls’ XC team did what they do best run as a pack.  Getting their runners across the line within a spread of 80 seconds, the girls took 2nd behind a strong NSA squad.  The girls were led by Avan Johnson (22:53), who has emerged as the team’s top runner, finishing 7th in the race.  Madisen Patrick was the second Dolphin (23:17), while Carlie Meyerholz (23:24), Liz Bowles (24:06) and Izzy Schleifer (24:15) rounded out the top five.  Hannah Gunn and Cat Lestyan completed the varsity squad for CHC.  The team will prep over the next week for the TCIS Championships on November 1st at Newport News Park.
