Boys Cross Country– CHC 1st 

Celebrating Senior Day, the Boys XC team got senior captains Owen Richards and Taisho Miller the best gift they could- a win.  The team used a sound strategy to grind their opponents to earn the victory in the team’s “home” invitational at the Sportsplex.  Owen Richards did what he has been doing all year, winning, covering the course in 16:27.  Berk Alptekin (18:33), Zach Earl (18:34), and Nick Damuth (18:47) grabbed sports 3-4-5, while Simon Altmeyer notched 8th place in 19:40.  Taisho Miller was the 6th dolphin across the line in 19:41, while Kyle Edwards earned his PR, breaking the 20:00 barrier for the first time in 19:50.  After racing four times in 12 days, the team will get a much-needed break as it preps for TCIS Championships on November 1st.
