Girls Cross Country- CHC- 5^th

The Dolphins took to Bells Mill Park on Saturday afternoon for the Atlantic Coast Invitational featuring 63 runners from nine schools. Avan Johnson led the Dolphin runners with a time of 22:44.49, finishing in 30^th place in a talented field of runners. Madisen Patrick was second to finish for Cape Henry, returning in a time of 23:08.70, while Carlie Meyerholz came in one minute behind Patrick with a time of 24:08.5. Liz Bowles and Izzy Schleifer rounded out the scoring five with times of 24:22.03 and 24:47.56 respectively. Cape Henry’s times gave the girls a 5^th place finish as the lone private school in the field. The Dolphins are back in action on Tuesday for the Cape Henry Invitational at the Sportsplex.
