Boys Volleyball- CHC 0, Kellam 3

The Dolphins traveled to Kellam High School on Tuesday night for a match-up with the area’s #4 Volleyball program. The talented Knights sideline swept the Dolphins in three sets as Cape Henry’s passing led the Dolphins astray. Kellam’s serving performance gave the Dolphins a fit, with the Knights tallying ten aces on the night. In the first set, Kellam took down Cape Henry by a score of 17-25 as Cape Henry’s unforced errors allowed the Knights to make several runs throughout the set. The second set found the Dolphins reeling from a first set loss, and as the passing issue haunted Cape Henry again, Kellam took the second set by a score of 11-25. In the final set of the night, the Dolphins lost 17-25. Thomas Couch dished out 12 assists, with Danny Banister earning six kills. The Dolphins (6-4) look to get back in the winning column on Thursday night in a matchup against Maury High School.
