Boys Volleyball- CHC 0, Maury 3

The Dolphins looked to erase the two-game losing streak against #10 Maury High School on Thursday night, and despite a well-executed match, the Dolphin fell in three sets. The Dolphins trailed early in the first set but battled throughout the contest to narrow the lead. However, Maury held on to take the first set by a score of 25-19. The Dolphins focused on making a clean first pass in the second set, but the talented Maury sideline’s relentless and creative attack was too much for Cape Henry to overcome as Maury won the second set 25-21. The Dolphins, displaying grit and determination, would not fold down 2-0 and battled to stay in the match. Maury’s attack proved to be the difference, as the Dolphins fell 20-25 in the final set of the night. Cape Henry (6-5) will celebrate the contributions of the Class of 2019 on Monday night, beginning at 5:00 pm.
