The Varsity Boys Soccer team hosted the Ambassadors from Norfolk Christian on Friday night with the Dolphins celebrating the achievements of eight members of the class of 2019. With the match underway, senior Wladimir Gassant put the Dolphins on the board six minutes into play before adding his second goal of the day nearly ten minutes after netting his first. As the Dolphins controlled all aspects of play, Grant Shepherd got a piece of the action as he scored two in a row to extend the lead to 4-0 in the first half. The Dolphins’ focus shifted to connecting passes while moving off the ball throughout the second half, and the result led to the fifth goal of the night scored by George Selamaj in the closing minutes of the second half. The Dolphins (8-2) will host the Bulldogs from Norfolk Academy tonight at 4:00 pm.
