Boys Volleyball Defeats Beach Breakers

The Dolphins hosted the Beach Breakers on Wednesday night for the Breaker’s first Volleyball game in the history of the program. The Dolphins were off to a fast start, rattling off 10 points to open the first set. Cape Henry eventually took the opening set by a score of 25-11. In the second set, Cape Henry kept the momentum rolling en route to another 25-11 victory over the Breakers. In the third and final set of the night, the Dolphins ended the match with a 25-8 victory. Danny Banister led the attack, tallying six kills throughout the night. Brady Old added four kills, while Marshall Joyce and Aiden Winfield each contributed two kills. Thomas Couch pitched in for 13 assists and one kill, with Josh Old adding an ace on the night. The Dolphins (5-2) will travel to Salem High School on Monday, October 1.
