The Dolphins traveled to the National Training Center to face the Patriots from First Colonial High School on Monday Night, returning with the first loss of the season despite limiting a talented Patriots sideline to four goals. The Patriots took an early lead, scoring minutes into the first half of play. Cape Henry limited the Patriots’ touches but struggled to find the back of the cage. With 14 minutes left in the first half, the Patriots added the second score of the night to take a 2-0 lead into the half. Returning to the field for the second half, Cape Henry held the Patriots scoreless for 21 minutes before conceding the third goal on the night. In the final five minutes of the night, the Dolphins increased the attacking pressure, but the Patriots added an insurance goal to bring the score to 4-0 as the final horn sounded. The Dolphins (6-1) will host Hampton Roads Academy tonight for a 4:30 pm start.
