The Dolphins opened conference play against the Crusaders from Bishop Sullivan Catholic on Monday night and returned to Cape Henry with a 4-1 victory on the road. Cape Henry controlled all aspects of play throughout the night, with Grant Shepherd leading the charge as he tallied a goal and an assist in the first half. Landon Clay found the back of the net in the first half to give the Dolphins a 2-0 lead. Returning to the pitch after the half, the Dolphins continued to control the pace of play, with Mason Dudley connecting for the third goal of the night. With a 3-0 lead, the Dolphins added their final goal of the night on a PK from George Selamaj. The Dolphins (4-0) will host St. Christopher’s for the State Finals rematch from last year on Friday at 4:30 pm.
