An Outstanding 21 Shots on Frame

The Dolphins continue to showcase their offensive prowess as they defeated Tallwood High School 6-0 on Wednesday night. Wearing down Tallwood’s defense, the Dolphins forced an outstanding 21 shots on frame throughout the night. Gini Kainer opened the scoring as she finished the deciding goal early in the first half, with Mackenzie White assisting on the score. Alexandra Land added the insurance goal shortly after to bring the score to 2-0 on the night. Late in the first half, Charlotte Walsh brought the score to 3-0 as she scored on a Caroline Fluharty assist. Entering the second half ahead, 3-0, Cape Henry kept the pressure on Tallwood’s defense as Caroline Fluharty picked up the fourth goal on the night for the Dolphins. Livy Wallace and Jillian Somers rounded out the scoring in the 6-0 victory over Tallwood High School. The Dolphins (3-0) will host St. Catherine’s School on Friday night beginning at 4:30 pm.
