Spotlight on Kyle Usonis, Class of 2022
Kyle Usonis joined the CHC community in the eighth grade. Kyle has the ability that most people aspire to have as he brightens up a room just by walking in. He walks the halls of Cape Henry with a sense of calmness and ease, never forgetting a smile on his face. Our community observes Kyle’s kind heart as he walks his younger brother, Donovan Usonis, to his lower school class every day. When asking Kyle how he believes others view him, I couldn’t have chosen a better set of traits than Kyle said for himself: “Awesome, kind, funny, pretty, sweet, and awesome again.” Kyle presents himself with a sense of confidence, kindness, and humor in every interaction he holds. Aside from Kyle’s success in being a role model student, his contributions in sports have greatly impacted CHC athletics. He has played on the varsity soccer team since his freshman year and can proudly announce that he is a 2x TCIS Champion as well as 2x State Champion. Kyle Usonis is the student for all to look up to. He is a hard worker, a considerate person, and is continuously living up to his word as being remembered in the CHC community as “a friend to all.”
