Makenna DeTorres is a senior at Cape Henry Collegiate this year. So far this school year she has been focusing on getting back into the school routine. Her highlight of the first week of school was seeing what her new classes are like and catching up with her friends in the senior lounge. One of her biggest struggles so far this school year has been keeping up with her homework on top of her busy schedule of school and tennis. This year she is looking forward to making memories before going off to college, but a challenge so far has been working on college applications. Makenna thinks Cape Henry is a great school environment because of the tight-knit community.
