The students of Cape Henry Collegiate thoroughly enjoyed Chris Singleton’s presentation.

Brynn Earl (2021) was impressed by Mr. Singleton’s ability to forgive his mother’s murderer while also using his story to advocate for racism. She described Mr. Singleton as being honest, forgiving, and courageous as he was able to share his story with a large audience.

Addison Cox (2020) was moved by the way he was able to keep his Faith despite the tragic event that happened to his mother. She feels that Cape Henry should continue to bring in guest speakers because she enjoys hearing other people’s perspectives.

Trevor Kidd (2020) admired his resilience and ability to stay positive despite the obstacles in his life. After hearing Mr. Singleton’s speech, Trevor plans to continue promoting positivity within himself and his community.
