Mr. Harrison Land is constantly busy at CHC as Front Desk Receptionist, Business Office Assistant, and Transportation Coordinator. After a quiet summer, the start of the school year has been “a lot more exciting” with new and returning students filling the halls.  Though he enjoys interacting with the students at Cape Henry, he said that a lot of middle school students are “making fun of my beard and calling me a hippie.”  Through his many positions, Harrison has become a central part of the Cape Henry community, saying that “everybody is super friendly” and appreciates that he can express his sense of humor, stating that he is “secretly a dolphin” and loves working at CHC. While interviewing him, Harrison helped out Maria Dotolo (‘22) get to her next class, showing how he always makes time to help out another member of the community.
