The Dolphins hit the links for the season opener against Norfolk Collegiate at the gorgeous, par-35 Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club. Cape Henry’s Caleb Choe led the way with a one-under performance to kick off the young season on a beautiful 70-degree afternoon. Choe’s one-under 34 earned medalist honors and marked the best start to Caleb’s Cape Henry career. James Tyler followed Choe’s stellar performance with an exceptional round himself, shooting a one-over 36 on Thursday afternoon. Miller Carr’s highly anticipated first round for Cape Henry did not disappoint as the eighth-grader finished with a four-over 39 to open his Varsity Golf career. Ben Saunders and Wiley Levine rounded out the top-five performances with a 46 and 41, respectively. The Dolphins (1-0) are back in action Tuesday for a match with the Bulldogs from Norfolk Academy at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club beginning at 3:30 pm.
