Wrestling- CHC 1^st Place

Cape Henry traveled to Norfolk Collegiate for the All-VISAA Tournament on Saturday and returned with the top spot behind five first-place finishers. The Dolphins returned home with the 1^st place honors after compiling 218 points and finishing 66 points ahead of the second place school. On the way to the 1^st place finish, the Dolphins’ Colby Kassir (170 lbs), Jackson Kassir (182 lbs), Colin Sharp (152 lbs), Jack Simkins (126 lbs), and Aedan Somers (145 lbs) all finished 1^st in their respective weight classes. Colby, Jackson, Jack, and Aedan all finished with a 2-0 record on the day, while Colin Sharp finished with a 3-0 record. Aiden Altamura (106 lbs), Tucker Bruner (138 lbs), Brendan Extrakate (285lbs), and Brendan Hawley (132 lbs) brought the Dolphins significant points as each finished 2^nd in their respective weight class. Rounding out the top-3 finishes, Gianni Bezada-Schenone (160 lbs), Chris Parker (120 lbs), and Reed Truxell (220 lbs) each brought home 3^rd place in their respective weight class. The Dolphins are back in action on Friday and Saturday for the Norfolk Academy Invitational beginning 5:00 pm Friday and resuming at 10:00 am on Saturday.
